I am now in my 20th year of ordained ministry in the Episcopal Church. I went to Wake Forest University in North Carolina, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy and Master of Divinity) and General Theological Seminary (Diploma in Anglican Studies.) Ordained in the Diocese of Kentucky, I began my ministry serving at Christ Church Cathedral and as Chaplain at Home of the Innocents. In 1998, I was called to be rector at St. James' Church in Pewee Valley, KY where I served for nine years. In 2008, I was blessed and honored to be called as rector of Trinity Church in Princeton, New Jersey.
It was been an amazing and joy filled journey. Growing up in Kentucky in a faithful Southern Baptist home, I never imagined that I would be priest in the Episcopal Church. This was not what "I" had dreamed of but the Holy Spirit, thankfully and wonderfully, had a different dream. It is indeed a sacred gift and holy privilege to serve as a priest in God's one holy catholic and apostolic church. The journey, I pray, is far from over. I wonder what the Spirit has in store next?
I have been married for over 20 years to my beautiful wife Christina. We are blessed to have three wonderful children Sophia, John Paul and Luke. Of all the things in my life, this is my joy!
